Will we have to start doing the powerpoint?
And, will we need to do a graph chart or something to compare the differences?

Day 3: Update

Today, the refrigerated juice seems to have a loss in Vitamin C. The solution was more bluish in colour. We did the test a few times but seems like the results were about the same. So we can all conclude that there was a slight decrease in the amount of Vitamin C. I won't be able to go to school for Thursday and Friday! So you guys keep the blog updated!! ;)

Adding to Shaun's posts

After Day 2, we then conclude that the beaker that is left UNREFRIGERATED and UNSEALED lost more vitamin C. It is clearly shown in the picture. We put the test tube with the original iodine beside the solution with the juice to show the change. Honestly, i never thought there would be such a huge difference in colour. I guess this experiment proved everybody wrong. We'll all be looking forward to the results of Day3 to see if their are any changes! :)

Proposal Form (Approved)

Finally managed to get the proposal form in! Not sure if it can be seen though. Will post it up somewhere else and make a link just in case.

Update: Day 2 (2)

Here is the second product, it shows the result of the refrigerated orange juice.

Adding of Orange Juice to Indicator Solution

Here is a video of the adding process. A more complete version will be filmed tomorrow.

Updates: Day 2 (1)

Here is the first product of the experiment. It was obtained from the unrefrigerated orange juice left on the table.

Procedure Update (1)

Ok this is our plan.

First, we have one beaker that we leave on the table at the science lab. We use 10 drops of orange juice from this beaker every day. Note, this beaker is UNREFRIGERATED and UNSEALED.

Two, we have one big beaker that we leave unsealed in the refrigerator. We use 10 drops of orange juice from this beaker every day. Note, this beaker is REFRIGERATED and UNSEALED.

Update: Day 2

Experiment went well today. Can finish in 10-15 minutes really. Will post the video and pictures later.
Tomorrow Jiaxi, Daphne and I will be coming down.

Update: Day 1

We started on the project today and it went well! We bought a bit too much orange but it's wasn't the problem. It was really cool how the colour changed when juice was added into the starch solution. I took down some photo and videos. it's really cool. In the photo below, the blue solution is the original colour of the indicator. The other one is the solution after the additional of juice. It was really amazing how the colour change. We shall see whether there is any change the next day. I'll keep the blog updated. :)

Proposal Form (2)

Oh by the way guys, regarding our proposal form, although it has been approved etc etc, I really can't get it up onto our blog! I've been trying my best and will continue, and hopefully there'll be a breakthrough soon.

Another thing, i think Daphne deserves a big hand for getting all of us on our feet and spearheading our project! Well done to Benedict too! Both you guys did great kicking off our experiment.
